Biodiesel - Fuel of the Future!

Students in Mr. C's class were visited by Dayna Leduc, local biodiesel producer and sustainable fuel advocate. They learned about the realities of the current petroleum-fueled economy and the important role alternative, sustainable fuels will serve in combating climate change! They also watched as a small batch of biodiesel was prepared in less than an hour...out of used cooking oil! Here's hoping their generation will help the tradition to a more sustainable future!
