Yaqan Nukiy students had a unique opportunity to see two traditional tipis on the flats. One was a canvas tipi where students were able to enter and sit around the fire. Students also saw a traditional tule tipi, unique to the Yaqan Nukiy people, which is made of woven tule reeds.
