Survival Day at the Kootenay Pass

Students spent the day practicing traditional and modern methods of survival, all the while braving a snowstorm at the Kootenay Pass. Students learned how difficult it can be to build a fire in the snow, and how fun it is to carve out a protective and, in Sula's case, well decorated snow shelter. Students have been awarded Survival Day Certificates for completing the challenges with little to no complaining! ;)
